Chamber of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania is an umbrella organization, uniting non-governmental organizations of farmers and rural habitants and representing common interests of all rural society.

Chamber of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania was re-established in 1991. The Chamber is direct assignee of property, rights and liabilities of the Chamber of Agriculture, which functioned in the period of 1926 – 1940.

Our Mission is to promote intensification of agricultural and rural sectors, as well as Lithuanian rural community, and seek for solutions favorable for agriculture and rural development via dialogue with authorities.

Our Strategic goals:
Seek for intensification of increased competitiveness of agricultural sector, as well as increased level of farmers’ income.
Seek for sustainable agriculture, capable to preserve countryside and remain the main pillar for rural viability, meeting consumers’ needs for food quality and safety and preserving safe environment for future generations.
Intensify the rural development process, seeking for more active participation of rural community in both development and implementation of rural development policy.
Encourage the activity of rural communities and develop their civil consciousness – one of the main guarantees of increased living standards in rural areas, as well as effective application of rural development measures.
